How we ended up having the coolest queer book bookshelf ever? In June of 2015 our guest was Daniel Allen Cox, a Montreal writer who brought over a selection of books dealing with queer topics and/or written by authors who actively promote issues of gender and sexuality. Not only did Daniel donate the books to our library, but he also designed and helped build the lovely Z or N shaped bookshelf you see above (which now furnishes one of the retreat's houses). Later, in August, Daniel wrote an account of his stay in Ližnjan which was published by Lambda Literary.
