"Thomas and the wall had grown up together."

“Look What Happened To Danny Broderick” is a semi-biographic coming-of-age story about thirteen-year-old Thomas Conroy who is autistic and epileptic. Raised by his overprotective mother, he falls in love for the first time with Pauline, a young carer. As reality and fantasy merge, in order to protect Pauline Thomas must settle scores with an old foe and find out what really did happen to Danny Broderick.

Peter Street is an extensively published author and poet, with five books of poetry and two memoirs. He was Presenter and Writer in Residence for BBC Greater Manchester Radio; while working there, he hitched a lift to the Balkans War as a war poet. Also, he worked for many years in prisons with young offenders, teaching them the joy of writing and self-expression. He has been a Royal Literary Fund recipient.
